Hi! I am Roberta Marziani and this is my personal page.

Currently I am a Marie Skłodowska-Curie postdoctoral fellow in Mathematics at Università degli studi di Siena.

My research interests primarily concern the Calculus of  Variations and Geometric Measure Theory. 

In particular my research projects involve the study of the following topics:

• Variational models for Dislocations;

• Elliptic and Non-local approximation of free discontinuity functionals;

• Periodic and stochastic homogenisation;

• Minimal surfaces and the Plateau problem in the non-parametric setting;

• Wrinkling of elastic thin films.
