While he will always be a nature photographer at heart, Robert Testagrossa continues to study all the aspects of photography. And why not? The best photographers aren't just well-versed in a single genre and their knowledge confined to the said genre; they are highly skilled in photography as a whole.
In today's blog, Robert Testagrossa writes about one of the more technical photography topics – cameras. Specifically, he shares his insights on two of the best cameras available in the market today.
Canon EOS R5
It should be no surprise to any shutterbug that a Canon is on this list. Canon is one of the most highly praised photography companies globally and has always been a leader in photography technology.
Even if it's been in the market for a while now, the Canon EOS R5 is still a favorite of shutterbugs everywhere. Its specs – 45 megapixels, an OLED EVF viewfinder, and a max shooting speed of 12 fps for mechanical stutters and 20 fps for electronics – allow it to remain at the top of the mountain, Robert Testagrossa adds.
Many experts still regard this mirrorless camera as the best Canon camera available today. And if people are looking to shift from first-rate photography to quality videography, this camera can do that as well.
Nikon D6
Right behind Canon when it comes to photography tech is Nikon. The company has developed a DSLR that's more conventional than even the Canon EOS R5. The Nikon D6 has great specs on its own – 20.8 megapixels, a new 105-point system for autofocus, and a continuous 14 fps maximum shooting speed, making it easier to use than its Canon counterpart.
Robert Testagrossa suggests this camera to photographers who are used to Nikon equipment and who own multiple lenses.
