The Roaring Panther Band was founded in 2017 as the first and only elementary school band in Gaston County, NC.
The band consists of almost 60 fourth and fifth grade students from Pleasant Ridge Elementary School.
We are one of the few marching elementary school bands in the United States
Our band has performed at Charlotte Checkers Hockey games, the Mount Holly Lantern Parade, Catch Me On the Court Charity Basketball game, and will cheer on the Gastonia Honey Hunters this April!
Our drumline performed with the Carolina Panthers Purrcussion during their pre-game walk at Bank of America Stadium, at the McAdenville Christmas Town 5k, and at the Modern Teacher Conference in Charlotte, NC.
