Using the Orff Approach, students will learn music concepts such as steady beat, improvisation, simple rhythmic and melodic patterns using movement, xylophones, singing and misc. unpitched percussion instruments. 

The year is divided into two sequential 16 week terms (a full year's curriculum!) and meets weekly.  

Each lesson is 45 minutes.  

A term of instruction includes 16 lessons culminating with an informal performance for students to share their learning.  

Tuition is $400.00 per 16 lesson/16 week unit 

If the class fills before tuition is due, there will be a discount of $100.00.  That makes lessons only $18.75 for an 45 minutes of instruction.

Tuition is due August 22.

Minimum class size is 4 students.  Maximum class size is 8 students

Classes occur on Wednesdays from 10:45am until 11:30am 

Term one begins August 27 through December 17.  There will not be any class on November 26

Term two begins the week of January 21 through the week of May 13

The year is divided into two sequential 16 week terms (a full year's curriculum!) and meets twice weekly.  

Each lesson is one hour.  A term of instruction includes 16 lessons culminating with an informal performance for students to share their learning.   

Tuition is $500.00 per 16 lesson/16 week unit.

If the class fills before tuition is due, there will be a discount of $100.00.  That makes lessons only $25.00 for an hour of instruction.

This age group will require a one-time purchase of a recorder (approx. $10-15)
