Welcome to the Music Academy of the Roaring Fork. I'm Melinda Baum and I believe in interactive, playful music making. As a music educator for over 26 years, I've had the incredible opportunity of building school music programs kindergarten through grade 12. These programs were located in Westcliffe, Colorado (Custer County Public School), Seoul, South Korea (Asia Pacific International School), and most recently Riverview School right here in the Roaring Fork Valley. Having recently retired from full-time teaching, I am still passionate about sharing my love of teaching. My education includes a Master of Music with Music Education Specialization from Colorado State University, and three levels of certification in both Orff Schulwerk and Kodály.
