A trip to Point Alpha, a Cold War observation post between Rasdorf, Hesse, West Germany and Geisa, Thuringia, East Germany was on the agenda on day one of excursions.

Walking tours of Erfurt were available on day one of excursions.

A trip to the famous Wartburg Castle was on the agenda on day two of excursions.

It was a long trip, but we got to learn about German culture, including Bern the Bread.
