Utilising wasted wall surfaces - Sep. 8, 2020:
To utilise the sunlight falling on walls, we could spread nets on the walls, and grow creepers over them.
The nets could be rolled to access any portion on the net for harvest.
The nets also serve as a safety mechanism for stranded individuals to reach safer places one after the other.
Local Neighbourhoods Sep. 09, 2018 R. Nandakumar:
To strenghten our nation to become the best of all countries, we need to strengthen our local neighbourhoods first. Reclaiming wastelands, waste-recycling, organic-farming, solar-energy production are some of the major concerns of local governments. I look at it from the local neighbourhood point of view. In any housing society, we may strive to be self-sufficient, by utilising vacant spaces, just like villages are in India.
