For the parents
It is crucial that you create your own TabRoom account (separate from your Student's account). TabRoom is the virtual website where all our speech & debate tournaments are hosted, and where registration gets processed.
In order to fulfill requirements as JUDGES, it is necessary to have a TabRoom account. Please create separate account for each parent or guardian. View the instructional page and video tutorial below to assist you. If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Attendence and Registration information:
The coaches will start taking attendance from this week. There is a short form the kids will have to fill out at the beginning of each class. Please make sure your registration details are complete so we can add the names to the roster.
There are 3 google groups that are used by the students and coaches to communicate after enrollment is completed and through the year. The assignments, updates etc which are meant for the students will be posted to those google groups only. The main google group : https://groups.google.com/g/rmssadc will be used for general updates to all parents and students active. (Parents should join the main group)
Speech : rmssadcsp@googlegroups.com (send email to rmssadcsp@gmail.com)
Debate LD : rmssadcld@googlegroups.com (send email to rmssadcld@gmail.com)
Debate PF: rmssandpf@googlegroups.com (send email to rmssadcpf@gmail.com)
(*** Google instructions on how to request access to a google group : https://support.google.com/groups/answer/1067205?hl=en )
We have not been able to add all the kids to the correct google groups because of one of the reasons
The family has not completed registration (we need all the PTA waiver forms signed for your child to participate in any PTA activity)
Complete the registration here : https://redwoodmiddlepta.membershiptoolkit.com/Open_Forms
If you company does a match please do take advantage of it. This portion of our funding is about 1/4th of our budget and helps keep the donation amount low.
The registration is complete but the child is not on the roster
Please check sign-in sheet students are required to fill in every class. If your child is not on the roster please get in touch with our parent booster managing our roster Penny Li (jerryrebel@gmail.com) so she can add your child to the roster.
If their name is on the list - but they are not in one of the 3 google groups ask them to request access to the google group (see point 3 below)
If the name of your child is not in the sign-in sheet - your registration may not be completed (see point 1 above) or you may have registered your child with the susd email.
Have settings which will not allow us to add a child to the google group automatically (Good safety option :-))
Have your child send a request to the google group they want to join, with the same (non-susd) email as used for PTA registration and we will approve it.
If you child in under 13 and has a child (supervised account) please provide an alternate (parents is fine) email to use. The parent will have the responsibility of keeping the child informed off all announcements and deadlines.
We have 7 parents signed up to the boosters team (yay!!). We are still looking for a tournament director to work with the team and keep us on top of the tournament schedule. We would like start sending the returning students to tournaments in oct and need someone stepping up to take on this responsibility (we will train you!) so it can go without a hitch
