an annual event taking place every fall around Mole Day (10/23) centered around science, for anyone interested in out-of-the-box thinking, solving puzzles with friends, and a week of fun!
What is the Mole Day Puzzle Hunt?
Every year since 2016, in celebration of Mole Day, Richard Montgomery High School holds a large-scale Puzzle Hunt that takes teams all around the Internet, applying scientific concepts and working to finish a series of puzzles the fastest. The puzzles are thematically centered around science and a variety of scientific areas (but do not necessarily require particularly advanced knowledge!) and all puzzles require ingenuity and lateral thinking. To see examples of the kinds of puzzles that have been put forward in the past, use the navigation on the left to explore the puzzles from previous years.
