Ferroelectrics and thermoelectrics for solid state applications
We work in the area of solid state chemistry where we synthesize ferroelectric and thermoelectric materials including oxides, chalcogenides and tune their semiconducting properties for Photovoltaic/Photocatalytic and thermoelectric applications.
Theory
We use first principle Density Functional Theory for electronic structure calculations on various inorganic oxides in order to understand their optical properties.
