Work History
I started my career at Marine Midland Bank right out of college in 1983 in the Communications Media Division. My main responsibilities were to evaluate loan documentation, complilations of industry financial data for credit analysis of financial statements for Radio, and Cable TV customers on a monthly basis. After six years at Marine Midland Bank I moved over to Bank of Montreal from 1989-1991. At Bank of Montreal I was responsible for new business development and co-management of a loan portfolio consisting of various communications companies. Identified and evaluated business opportunities based upon the competitive environment and clients' strategic goals. Evaluated financing needs and debt structured for customers, structured loan proposals, and negotiated documentation. Performed extensive cash flow and forecasting analysis to evaluate credit worthiness of deals under consideration. In 1991 I saw an opportunity, when Judge Green deregulated the Pay Phone Industry and decided to leave Bank of Montreal and start my own pay phone company. I was able to raise $4 Million in venture capital to start the business and sold it to a Publically Traded Company in 1996. In 1997 I entered into a partnership with AT&T and founded Publicall Telecommunications to maintain and service Inmate phones in locations for AT&T.
Current Operations
Publicall Telecommunications has recently celebrated 26 years in business. We currently employ 20 full time employees in three states. I strongly believe that Mobile is here to stay and I look forward to developing additional apps focused on the Inmate market and other markets.
