1. Purposes of practicum

 I joined the SEA -Teacher project because I want to improve my English skill. I want to have experience of teaching abroad. I want to know how to manage the classroom, which contents with diverse learners, learn instructional styles and develop my classroom management. Moreover, that is a good way of meeting new friend and learn different cultures. Thank you for this Project for opportunities to have good experiences and practice my teaching pedagogies for me to improve professionally.

2. Procedures of practicum

There are 4 stages that must be followed by the participant:

1. Observation

          I have to observe my mentor class and anather teacher to learn teaching techniques and learn about classroom management.

2. Teaching Assistant

          I have to be a teacher assistant such as introduction game or sing a song and dance to student for warm up

3. Teaching Practice

          I have a teaching practicum for  one day of a week. 

4. Teaching Evaluation

       My supervisor and my mentor evaluate my teaching in the last week.

3. Outcomes of practicum

1. Make my English skills and teaching skills better.

2. Make me have more confident to speak English.

4. Learn a new culture and system of education.

4. The challenges of practicum

       The challenges of this practicum was the first time I have taught English for Elementary students and in this school it's also don't have technology in the classroom because my major is in English Education for high school students. I was very excited and nervous about how to teach, how to control Elementary students, and make it easy to understand in my lesson because In Thailand, I study English with Thai language and always uses English and Thai language to teach my high school students.In this school I can’t speak, write and listen in Indonesia language. I hope my students will understand the lessons and get my point, so I always improve my teaching skill and I also try to speak Indonesian language to make my students understanding. Even if we have different accents, but good to learn together. 

 5. Overall impression

       There are many things I want to tell when I through this project. I would like to say thank you to Sea -Teacher Project because this project helped me to make my dream comes true. This Project helped me to improve my English communication skill and also my teaching skill. And this project makes me met new people such as the teachers, lovely students in SDN 69 Kota Bengkulu   School, new friends, my lovely buddies, and a new friend that they joined the same project as me from the Philippines.

 6. Suggestions for future improvement

      For me the suggestions are this project should have more countries that students can exchange and should have more than one month to find new experiences for teaching and explores the country.
