This Face Data Policy explains how Riyad El-Qasery handles images that may contain faces when users use the application's AI-powered image transformation features.
The App allows users to upload images that may contain a face.
The App does not use uploaded images for facial recognition, identity verification, face matching, surveillance, or the creation of biometric profiles.
Images containing faces are processed solely to provide the image transformation feature requested by the user.
Face-containing images are used only to process the image transformation requested by the user.
We do not intentionally use face-containing images for:
Identity verification
Facial recognition
User profiling
Behavioral tracking
Advertising or targeted advertising
Creating biometric identifiers
Unrelated machine-learning purposes
Face-containing images are not intended to be retained longer than necessary to provide the requested image-processing functionality.
The original image may be transmitted to a third-party image-processing service when necessary to generate the requested result.
After processing, the image is handled according to the applicable processing and retention practices of the service providers used by the App.
The App may use third-party services to process uploaded images and generate the requested transformation.
Images may be transmitted to such providers through secure connections for the sole purpose of providing the requested functionality.
We do not intentionally provide third-party providers with additional personal information unless it is necessary to operate the service.
The App does not intentionally perform:
Facial recognition
Face matching
Identity detection
Biometric identification
Creation of facial biometric templates
Creation of faceprints for identifying users
The purpose of processing is image transformation rather than identification.
We do not sell or rent users' face-containing images.
Images may be transmitted to third-party service providers when such transmission is necessary to provide the requested image-processing functionality.
Such processing is limited to the purposes described in this policy and the applicable terms and privacy practices of those providers.
The image-processing feature is initiated by the user.
Where the App requires access to the user's camera or photo library, the App requests permission through the operating system's permission system.
Users may refuse or revoke such permissions through their device settings.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information processed through the App.
Images transmitted to third-party services may be transferred using encrypted connections where supported by those services.
However, no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
