Collected Data

When accessing the application with their Gmail account, the user will be assigned an anonymous name (for instance, CreativeHippo1256). 
No personal data associated with the Gmail account will be saved on our server.

When using the application to collect pictures, only the following additional information will be stored:

• GPS Location: The user's GPS location is recorded each time an image or video is captured and sent through the application

Purpose of Data Processing

The collected data will be used solely for the following purposes:

• Creation of an anonymous ranking based on the pictures collected by the users

• Geolocation of potential polluted sites through GPS data, thanks to the users' monitoring efforts

Data Protection

According to Article 13 of EU Regulation No. 2016/679 (hereinafter “GDPR 2016/679”), which contains provisions for the protection of individuals and other subjects regarding the processing of personal data, all personal data will be processed in compliance with current data protection regulations and will not be shared with third parties for commercial or advertising purposes.

User Rights

The user has the right to request the deletion of their data by sending a written request to riverwatch[.]watcher[@]gmail[.]com.
By accessing the application, the user agrees to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
