Our most important audience was sharing our work with Riva. We had the opportunity to host a Zoom session with Riva, translator, Anna, A Book By Me crew, professors at university level, Allan Ross, and a few others. We have chosen not to post the video. While the event was very moving and powerful it was during a difficult time for Riva. Riva had to relocate due to the Ukraine War which did cause some confusion as she is in an assisted living situation.

To see the final work with the person who the story is based on is powerful. To connect with Anna who helped to craft the words was inspiring. Regardless of where the story lands with others, the impact was felt by the students knowing they have secured a story of a person who should not be forgotten.
