I am an engineer turned solar researcher. I have done my B.E. in Electrical Engineering from Government Engineering College, Bilaspur. I completed my Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Dipankar Banerjee and Dr. K. Sankarasubramanian   starting at the Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bangalore, and continuing at the Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences, Nainital. I work in the field of solar physics with a specific research area of space weather and related phenomena. I have been involved in India's first space-based mission to study the Sun, Aditya-L1 and NASA's next small satellite explorer mission, PUNCH. 

Even before my first camera, I had tried to capture the moments starting with mobile photography. One of my favorite hobbies, I like to photograph the landscapes and night sky.  With every captured frame I try to learn a new way for improvement. Some of my captured photographs could be found here.

I have been following the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) since its origin in 2008. I am a huge fan of these characters. It has been a part of my journey.

I like visiting new places within India and abroad. One may think that being a researcher doesn't lead to traveling, which is very much the opposite. It has provided me a lot of opportunities to visit the places I had dreamt about.  Sometimes it is challenging and adventurous especially when one has to reach the other side of the globe. It had been really exciting to visit places including Ladakh, Kodaikanal, Sikkim, Niagara falls, Antelope canyon.
