This project involves the use of Quantum State Vector Machines to classify Astronomical transients in the DR 16 dataset of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS). It was carried out under the mentorship of Dr Emille E.O. Ishida of the FINK and SNAD project and Mr Mehdi Bozzo Rey of the Quantum Algorithms Institute.
This project was shortlisted amongst the top 20 projects worldwide in the IBM Qiskit Hackathon Europe 2021. The write-up can be found here

An innovative way of secure key distribution using a web interface. Two users login to a server where they input a randomly generated number sequence with three digits. Depending on the input string, measurements are performed on an entangled state (Here, we use the anti-correlated bell state). For an N bit input, N bell-states are required. Then the users communicate their measurement labelings through a classical channel. This idea can be extended by using an n-qubit entangled state for n users. The QKD is based on the E91 protocol.

This project was a part of the coursework ECS 413 Smart Sensing Technologies taken in the 8th semester of my undergraduate degree by Dr Mitradip Bhattacharjee. I gave a presentation which served as a primer to identify and tackle the existing bottlenecks associated with dark matter detection. Various existing approached were studied and the motivation to harness 'squeezed' states of light was construed. A case study of mechanical impulse sensors and piezoelectric transducers was presented.

This project involves the use of the PyTorch Qiskit pipeline to create a Hybrid Quantum Neural Network for image classification (which was performed on the CIFAR-10 dataset).

This project involved using Randomized Benchmarking to compare the gate fidelities and performances of three superconducting QPUs namely IBMQ Athens, Santiago and Belem. An extension of this project involved designing a transmon chip using Qiskit Metal and using QuTip to compare energy levels of an QHO with the Transmon.

This project involves the use of Google's Cirq and Tensorflow Quantum to create a model of a simple Quantum Neural Network that can be used for binary classification, specifically digits classification. The model was also tested on an HPC facility, it's performance compared on a GPU, TPU and CPU.

Game-Q is an educational gaming platform for quantum computing which aims to make learning fun by creating in-browser games, puzzles and quests and an active open source platform for like-minded individuals to contribute and collaborate on further game related projects. This was a team carried out during the CERN Webfest 2021 and we are still working on expanding its objectives.

Various ML techniques were deployed to classify data from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) Data Release 17 (DR17) namely KNN, SVM, Random Forest and Decision Tree. A Multilayer Perceptron Based Classifier was also experimented with. Before foraying into statistical analysis, a vigorous pictorial analysis was done through Violin Plots, KDE distributions, PDF function distributions and frequency polygons to name a few. This model would be ideal to get a thorough understanding of the data visually, statistically, mathematically as well as analytically.

Search and retrieval of Cancer Research centers and oncologists from NIH and ASCO data using web scraping
Cancer research is crucial to improve the prevention, detection and treatment of these cancers, and ensure that survivors live longer, better quality lives. This project makes use of Biopython and BeautifulSoup to extract cancer data from NIH and ASCO to build a consolidated program for search and retrieval of Cancer Research centers and oncologists.
This project was a part of the coursework for DSE 615, Advanced Python and Data Science in Practice in the 7th semester of my Undergraduate studies at IISER Bhopal.

The solution that OpenmedX came up with this year consisted of three main parts: a questionnaire, an open-source Interactive map, and open-source hardware and software platform in App and Webform, to identify the areas in the world, in which health care solutions are lacking and link them with experts in the medical field to provide them with skills, equipment and etc.

'Her-Band' is a pre-startup idea that my team and I came up with to tackle the discomfort of Menstrual pain in women under the guidance of Dr Marina S Rajadurai, Dr Reddy's Institute of LS and Department of Nanotechnology, HCU. The idea is to use microneedles embedded in patches that can be simply wrapped around the wrist. The microneedles could be quoted with medication or pain killers so as to transdermally diffuse them directly through the blood stream, evading the first pass metabolism effect and increasing the effective time.
The pre-startup is currently at the incubation stage at IICE, the incubation cell of IISER Bhopal .

This project involved developing a basic, neophyte code that can be used to determine the average altitude, burnout velocity, coasting distance ,coasting time and parachute dimensions of a model rocket .

This project builds a subtle prototype of a temperature and humidity sensor that can help monitor relative humidity and neighbouring temperature. The proposed set-up is cost-effective and is easy to implement considering its ease of integration with the IDE.

This project involved building a simple Library Management system in NetBeans using the Java-MySL Data base connectivity and JDBC-ODBC driver.
It consists of two section : one for the librarian or admin and the other for the user. Every user has his or her own account in the portal and can perform any of the actions a normal reader performs at a library like issuing, renewal and return of books. The admin has override privileges to make changes in case of manual errors. This was a part of the Central Board of Secondary Education's Investigatory Project in Informatics Practices for the year 2019.
