A fish from the painting swims into the depths of memory, guiding the audience into the legendary life of the director’s grandfather. Once a fisherman from Matsu, he survived a shipwreck in the tempestuous sea. In his later years, he laid down his fishing nets and took up the brush, becoming a self-taught artist who painted the landscapes of a life well lived. Between waves and strokes, he traced a heartfelt journey—one of family, time, and love.
