ACHIEVEMENTS & AWARDS

2026 - The HCAT Civil/Geotechnical Engineering Scholarship 2026: The award recognizes academic and research excellence in geotechnical engineering and/or the heavy construction industry. This award is granted by the School of Graduate Studies on the recommendation of McMaster’s Department of Civil Engineering.

2026 - The Ahmed Ghobarah Scholarship 2026:  The award recognizes academic excellence among international graduate students in Civil Engineering at McMaster University. This award is granted by the School of Graduate Studies on the recommendation of the Department Chair.

2026 - Civil Engineering Travel Grant Award:  The Civil Engineering Graduate Student Travel Assistance Grants are funded by the Department of Civil Engineering, McMaster University with the objective of fostering scientific exchange, networking with other researchers, and showcasing the talents of McMaster’s graduate students.

2025 - Manuel Fine Civil Engineering Scholarship: Selected as a recipient of the Manuel Fine Civil Engineering Scholarship 2025 awarded by the Deep Foundation Institute (DFI) Educational Trust, based on deep foundations related research, leadership capabilities, and long-term goals. The scholarship is exclusively offered to only two individuals attending schools in the Canadian Province of Ontario.

2025 - Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS) 2025-2026: Awarded the OGS for 2025–2026! The OGS is a merit-based scholarship awarded by the Government of Ontario to support research-focused graduate students. It recognizes academic excellence, research potential, and demonstrated leadership skills.

2025 - The Ahmed Ghobarah Scholarship 2025:  Received The Ahmed Ghobarah Award based on the academic and research excellence in Civil Engineering by the School of Graduate Studies of McMaster University. 

2024 - International Joint Research Laboratory of Earthquake Engineering (ILEE): Awarded a travel and accommodation grant by the ILEE to attend the ILEE Summer Program 2024 at Tongji University in Shanghai, China from July 14th to July 27th, 2024.

2026 - Top 100 Most Read Authors: Listed as one of the top 100 most read authors in the Journal of Discover Civil Engineering published by Springer. 

2024 - Himalayan Future Forum Youth Fellowship: Recipient of a youth fellowship awarded by the Himalayan Future Forum.

2023 - Civil Engineering Doctoral Scholarship, McMaster University: Scholarship awarded for doctoral studies in Civil Engineering at McMaster University.

2023 - Graduate Entrance Scholarship, Department of Civil Engineering, McMaster University : Entrance scholarship awarded upon admission to the graduate program in Civil Engineering.

2023 - Graduate Research Scholarship, McMaster University : Scholarship awarded to conduct research at McMaster University.

2022 - Summer Research Internship Program (SRIP) Award, IIT Gandhinagar : Award received to participate in a summer research internship program at IITG.

2022 - Academic Scholarship, Department of Civil Engineering, Chandigarh University : Awarded for ranking among in the top 3 students in the department.

2020 - Jr. Engineer Position, Government of Nepal, MRM : Selected for a Junior Engineer position through competitive written technical examination and interview.

2020 - Graduate Scholarship, Chandigarh University : Received scholarship for a Master's program based on academic excellence in undergraduate studies.

2019 - Academic Excellence Scholarship, LEC, Pokhara University : Awarded a academic excellence scholarship for being among the top 3 students in the department.

2017 - Champion and Runner-up, Intra-College Cricket Competition, LEC, Pokhara University : Achieved the title of Champion in 2017 and Runner-up in 2018 in an intra-college cricket competition.

2013 - Academic Excellence Scholarship, Golden Gate International College : Received a scholarship based on academic excellence.
