I work in the field of fluid dynamics with a focus on complex fluids and soft matter with applications in sustainable technology, digital manufacturing, renewable energy, battery cooling, and biological flows. I do scientific computing, machine learning, numerical modeling, and experiments to investigate various phenomena such as rheology, the motion of particles/microorganisms through complex fluids, data-driven discovery of constitutive equations, and elastic instabilities.
