Who are we?
Who are we?
We are a southwestern Michigan-based group motivated to uplift and push for equity and equality within the United States for all LGBTQ+ individuals. Our group started just after the 2024 election results, with us wanting to do something about what we knew would happen under the next administration. Though we felt worried and upset about what we saw, we knew we needed to get out there and do something.
We want to use our collective voice to send a message to our congressman and other federal officials and spread information on the LGBTQ+ community to others. We plan on scheduling meetings and events to push towards this goal, using our activism and support to change lives. We will announce any updates to this website on our social media accounts.
Our goal is also to build up a supportive and encouraging community in the process for the people in this country who are now scared and fearful of the actions against them by the Trump administration. We know that millions of people, especially those without a source of support, need others to support them in these unprecedented times, so we intend to do that for the community.
We are currently only based in Niles, Michigan, and will focus on the nearby community. However, as this project grows, we may gradually expand our reach.
