Learn more about people of color and diverse cultures so that you can be more knowledgeable when discussing racial and social issues
Discuss more positives in people of color cultures
Build a stronger relationship with your student , challenge and support them in achievement
Be more inclusive in lessons, but avoid making a student feel like the center of attention or the spokesperson for their race or culture
