The annual Historically Black College Tour is available to Amherst Regional High School students in April through the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Family Services Center in Springfield.

Workshops on financial aid & scholarships and college applications & essays are also offered.
Also, the MLK Family Services center provides access to a annual Black College Fair in NYC in the Fall.

To get an internship from ARHS actively develop a good relationship with the guidance counselors. Typically this process is individualized, so the guidance counselors like to meet with students and discuss ideas based on the students area of interests before deciding on internship options.
