2022 Graduating Seniors

TéA Benzenberg

Téa will be attending Hawaii Pacific University to study marine biology. “My favorite memory from Rise is making friends and just being welcomed into the Rise community by all the students and teachers. If I were to give anyone advice it would be to just keep dancing no matter what and stick to it because the community at rise can make any day better.” She would like to thank her parents and teachers for supporting her dancing and her future and a HUGE thank you to all the teachers that would support her, even on the bad days.


Ainsley Overholt

Ainsley plans to attend the University of Alabama and is majoring in Advertising. “My favorite memory from RISE is all of the laughs shared with everyone here, and being able to grow up with everyone I’ve danced with.My advice for future dancers is to just have fun and enjoy every class you take, because time flies by!”Ainsley would like to say thank you to her parents for always supporting her in dance, and always being there for her no matter what!


Mallory Peterman

Mallory is attending the University of Arkansas and will be majoring in Interior Design. “My favorite Rise memory is definitely recital days. I love hanging out with my dance friends all day while also getting to preform what I’ve worked on all year! My future advice for Rise dancers is to just have fun and be yourself!” She would like to thank all the teachers at Rise who have supported her since she was little. She would also like to thank her team for being her best supporters and best friends!


Kaiya McClanahan

Kaiya will be attending Colorado Christian University to study Kinesiology and exercise science with a minor in dance! “My favorite memories from Rise are always recitals! I love getting to perform the dances we worked so hard on with everyone who comes to support us. I love being able to share my passion for dance with everyone around me. My advice for future Rise dancers is to give it your all, and always come to dance with a smile.” She would like to thank all of the teachers she has had since she has been dancing at Rise, and all of the people she has been able to dance with through the years. “You have all made my experience dancing here a special and memorable one. I will never forget the love and kindness I have felt dancing with Rise.”


Maia Cullen

Maia will be attending the University of Colorado Boulder and studying business at the Leeds School of Business. She will be participating in their honors program as well. “Some of my favorite memories at RISE are from competitions. I loved performing my solo! I also greatly enjoyed chatting and dancing with all of my fellow dancers and teachers. They are all amazing individuals and I will greatly miss them. Some advice that I would give to the RISE dancers would be to always put 100% of their effort into all of their dances and to always keep a positive attitude”. She would like to thank all of her current and past dance teachers for providing her with the help and support that she needed to take her from the gymnast that she was when she first started, to the dancer that she is today. She would also like to thank her parents for their unwavering support and commitment to her and my passions throughout the years. “Thank you again RISE for all the amazing and unique experiences that you have given me!”
