Backstory and Motivation

I started writing in 2018. In school we were learning about drama and reading scripts. In language arts, I was reading "House of Hades" by Rick Riordan. Suddenly a lightbulb went off in my head; "I should try to write a script about this book, like a fanfiction" I thought. Later that same day in spanish class I sat next to my friend. I turned to her and said something along the lines of "hey, so you know how we're learning about scripts in Ms. Gonzalez's class" "yeah" she responded "well what if I wrote a script about the book I'm reading" she then responded with "can I be in it" "yes Manu, and the rest of our friend can play characters too" I said "yeah we'll tell them at lunch". Our conversation ended there and long story short we told our friends, they said yes and we never finished.
