SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

• Submissions must be sent to ripplezine@gmail.com

• You must be an undergraduate student at the time of submission.

• You do not have to identify as feminine to submit to Ripple, we accept submissions from everyone. 

• We accept fiction, nonfiction, poetry, essays, drawings, paintings, photos, prints, collage work, etc. If you have some other medium you'd like to submit, contact us below.

• All submissions must be related to feminism, gender, sexuality, identity, and/or social justice. 

• Written submissions can be as short as a haiku and no longer than 2,000 words.

• Please send text submissions as a .pdf, .docx, or .doc and image submissions as .png or .jpeg

• The deadline for the spring 2024 issue is 11:59 PM, March 10, 2024.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

• Everyone who submits work for consideration will receive an acceptance status response after the deadline.

• Should your work be accepted we will need a bio/artist statement of 200 words or less, and optional photo or representative image. You may choose to include this with your submission if you wish.

• Everyone whose work is chosen for publication will receive a hard copy of the zine as well as a link to the digital version. Extra print copies may be available. Details will be included in the response letter.
