About Ripple

ABOUT RIPPLE

Ripple was created by women's and gender studies majors at the University of Maine at Farmington, and is now based at the University of Maine at Augusta - Bangor.

At Ripple, we celebrate the diversity of feminist voices and perspectives by featuring works of poetry, prose, non-fiction, and visual art on themes of feminism, gender, sexuality, identity, and/or social justice. Undergraduate creatives from across the US are invited to participate. Intersectional and multidisciplinary works are welcomed and encouraged.

Ripple is edited, produced, and distributed by
a different student editor each semester.

Ripple zine is grateful to receive financial support from The UMA Women's and Gender Studies Social Justice fund which was established at the University of Maine at Augusta in 2022 with a generous, initial gift from University of Maine Farmington's Women and Gender Studies alumnus.
