  • Reservation of Ripley House & Garden (RHG) for an event grants you exclusive access to the entire property for the duration of your event

  • Included in the price of an event booking: consultations, use of the property for engagement or other photography in advance of the event, set-up and rehearsal needs the day prior to the event, all day-of activities including removal of perishable items, and tear-down of non-perishable items the day immediately following the event; other related events may require additional fees

  • A 40% non-refundable booking fee is required at time of contract signing to reserve the date of your event, with the remaining refundable balance due thirty days prior to the event; payment plans are available

  • Alcohol is permitted on the premises, but please be aware that RHG strongly encourages either the purchase of liquor liability insurance by the client or addition of RHG in the liability coverage contract that the client signs with the vendor providing the alcohol; see this article for advice

  • If alcohol will be served, RHG requires the presence of security at all times while alcohol is being consumed on the premises. We require one security guard per one hundred guests. The cost of security will be included in the total rental cost.

  • Clients and vendors are responsible for all set-up and tear-down of event materials that do not belong to the venue

  • All flammable materials, food, drink and other perishable items must be disposed of and removed from the property immediately following the end of an event; all other items may remain until the following day for clean-up

  • RHG is not responsible for any personal injuries, damage to non-venue materials, or lost or stolen items belonging to vendors or guests while on the premises

  • RHG is not responsible for the actions of guests and clients while on the premises or any actions or events that occur after leaving the premises

  • RHG reserves the right to charge for damage to venue-owned materials and property caused by vendors or guests while on the premises

  • Final decorations must be approved by RHG management in accordance with local and state safety guidelines

  • While we have no guest maximum limit, parking is in manicured farm fields and access may be limited due to ground conditions

  • All amplified music must be kept at a reasonable level to be determined by RHG; all amplified music must end by 11:00 PM

  • All events must end by 1 AM
