The DIY English Project
As part of your matriculation requirements, you are required to write and present a project in English. This project is also presented in your oral exam and incorporated into your school grade for Module E in the 11th grade. The preparation of this project is done in the first semester of 11th grade. You need to submit your full project on the 28th of January, 2024. This is a collaborative project you will work on in pairs or in groups of three.

Here you will find all of the explanations you need to independently write your project. Follow the stages and instructions given in the clips in order to know what is expected of you and how to carry out the assignments.
Make sure to set up a schedule with your project partners as soon as possible, so you can go through the attached clips and choose your topic together.

50 % of the assignment is the written project done on a Google Doc as directed in the instructions above.
Presentation

The other 50% of the assignment is a 3-5 minute presentation. This presentation can be done as a TED talk // Video clip // Digital Presentation via Canva / Power Point / Google Slides

Things to pay attention to...
The level of vocabulary, grammar, connectors, sentence structure, mechanics and aesthetics all impact your grade significantly. So, make sure to take time and ensure the level of your work reflects these elements to the best of your ability. This is true for both the written portion of the assignment as well as the presentation.
