In a descriptive essay you may be asked to describe a person, an object, a place, an event or experience. Today, we will be focusing on an event-experience. Just like the opinion essay, a descriptive essay has an opening paragraph, 2 body paragraphs and a closing paragraph.
The opening paragraph should present what you are going to describe.
The body paragraphs should give a detailed, informative account of the subject described and its significance to you.
The closing paragraph should give a sense of closure. It should emphasize the effect or value of the subject described.
Today, you will write an essay describing how you usually celebrate Passover along with how you will celebrate it this year. Remember to handwrite a 120-140 word essay. Pay attention to your vocabulary, connectors, advanced structures.
When you are done, upload a photo or scan of your handwritten essay to the Moodle.
