A Hardware Interface is the physical hardware components (input & output) that allow the user to manipulate the computer.

🔹Touch Screen

A touch screen is a display that allows users to interact with it by touching it with their fingers or a stylus. Touch screens are used in many devices, including smartphones,tablets and some laptops.Touch screen devices usually use gestures such as tapping swiping and pinching action done by the users fingers as some do not always rely on physical keyboard hence using a digital keyboard instead.

Examples include:

▪️Tablet

( is usually used for their larger screen making them ideal for watching movies,playing games and other recreational purposes)

▪️Laptop

(is usually used for more educational or business purposes because of its portability and battery power )

▪️Phone

(is used for everday simple online interaction because of their compact size ,battery life and pocket-sized portability)

🔹Specialized Keyboards

Specialized Keyboards are keyboards that are specifically tailored to the users needs.They can be customized based on the size, color, types of keys or formats the user wants. These keyboards make it easier for the user to navigate their keyboard without struggles ecspecially if they are disabled.

Examples include:

▪️Specialized keyboard for Dyslexia

(keyboards are colorful to improve usability, making it easier to identify and group keys, enhance focus, reduce visual stress,make it engaging and accessible.)

▪️Braille Keyboard

(keyboard are fitted with potruding dots that represent the different letters,numbers and signs on the keys that make it easy for visually impaired persons to navigate.)
