Internship in a historic environment – contribute to the restoration of the manor
We offer internship opportunities for students and restoration enthusiasts who wish to gain practical experience in the restoration of a historic building. During the internship, participants can take part in various restoration and finishing works while learning traditional craftsmanship techniques on a real heritage site. The internship takes place in small groups, and all work is coordinated and guided by the lady of the manor. The duration, timing, and scope of work are arranged individually.
During the summer season, interns may stay at the manor free of charge by prior agreement. The peaceful surroundings and natural setting provide excellent conditions for learning, working, and experiencing life in a historic environment.
During the internship, participants may be involved in:
restoration of historic windows and doors
dismantling and preparatory work
wall and ceiling painting and finishing
sanding and finishing of wooden floors
filling, plastering, and woodworking
other restoration-related tasks according to skills and agreement.
