## Frequently Asked Questions
### Is RIGLOG a subscription?
No. RIGLOG is a one-time purchase of $4.99. There are no subscriptions, no ads, and no in-app purchases. You pay once and own it forever.
### Does RIGLOG work offline?
Yes. Every feature works without an internet connection. Your data is stored locally on your device. The only feature that requires internet is the AI assistant, which is optional.
### How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
Open RIGLOG and go to Settings. If prompted with the paywall, tap **Restore Purchase** at the bottom of the screen. Your purchase is linked to your Apple ID and can be restored on any device.
### Is my data safe?
All data is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal or business data. You can optionally enable iCloud backup for sync across devices, which uses Apple end-to-end encryption.
### How do I export my data?
Go to **Settings** and tap **Export All Data** to export everything. You can also export specific reports from the **Reports** section, including IFTA fuel tax, Schedule C tax summary, trip profitability, maintenance history, and detention claims.
### How do I delete all my data?
Go to **Settings** and tap **Delete All Data**. This permanently removes all data from the app. If you have iCloud Sync enabled, also check your iCloud settings.
### What is the AI assistant?
RIGLOG includes a built-in AI assistant powered by Claude. You get 2 free AI calls per day. You can use it to voice-log expenses with natural language, ask questions about FMCSA regulations and HOS rules, get tax deduction guidance, and compare load profitability. The AI is a bonus feature. The app is fully functional without it.
### Does RIGLOG track my location?
Only if you give it permission. Location is used for two optional features: automatic state detection for IFTA fuel tax reporting and GPS timestamps on detention events. Location data is stored only on your device and is never sent to us. You can decline location permission and manually enter state information instead.
### Is RIGLOG an ELD?
No. RIGLOG is a business management and planning companion. It is not a certified Electronic Logging Device and should not be used as a replacement for an ELD.
### What devices does RIGLOG support?
RIGLOG supports iPhone and iPad running iOS 18.6 or later. The iPad version features a dedicated sidebar navigation layout optimized for the larger screen.
### Can I use RIGLOG for multiple trucks?
The current version supports one primary vehicle. Multi-vehicle support for small fleet owners is planned for a future update.
### What currencies does RIGLOG support?
RIGLOG supports 12 currencies: USD, CAD, EUR, GBP, AUD, MXN, BRL, INR, ZAR, NZD, RUB, and JPY. You can also choose between imperial (miles, gallons, MPG) and metric (kilometers, liters, L/100km) units. Currency and units are selected during setup and can be changed anytime in Settings.

## Troubleshooting
### App crashes on launch
Try deleting and reinstalling the app. If the issue persists, contact us at pradeep.aneesh@gmail.com with your device model and iOS version.
### AI assistant not working
The AI assistant requires an internet connection. Check your Wi-Fi or cellular data. If you see "Daily limit reached," your 2 free AI calls for the day have been used. They reset at midnight.
### Receipt photos not saving
Make sure you have granted RIGLOG camera permission. Go to your device **Settings**, find **RIGLOG**, and enable **Camera** access.
### Data not syncing between devices
Make sure iCloud Sync is enabled in RIGLOG Settings on both devices. Both devices must be signed into the same Apple ID with iCloud Drive enabled.
