Meet teachers, administrators, and support staff
Learn about academic expectations, classroom routines, and curriculum
Receive information about Title I services, intervention supports, and enrichment opportunities
Ask questions and build connections at the start of the school year
This event establishes a strong foundation for ongoing communication and collaboration between home and school.

Rigby Middle School will host a Fall Carnival designed to:
Bring families, staff, students, and community members together
Create a welcoming, inclusive environment for relationship-building
Provide opportunities for families to connect with teachers, support staff, and community partners
Strengthen school–community partnerships
The Fall Carnival supports family engagement by fostering positive connections in a fun, informal setting.
Date: January 2026
Rigby Middle School will host a Literacy Night focused on strengthening literacy skills and promoting a love of reading.
Literacy Night will include:
A guest author presentation
Literacy-focused activities for students and families
A book fair to encourage home libraries and reading engagement
Resources and strategies families can use to support literacy at home
This event reinforces the school’s commitment to literacy development and family involvement in student learning.
Rigby Middle School will maintain regular communication with families through:

Phone calls, emails, and parent–teacher conferences
