Format For Links N Drinks:

This is a FUN outing, open to everyone (Members and Non-Members), where you get to golf with other golfers, who you might never have the opportunity to golf with. After 9 holes of golf, you share a drink in the Clubhouse and get to know the other golfers. This outing is meant to develop new friendships and comradery.

The Links N Drinks dates are May 14, June 17, July 23, Aug 26 and Sep 16 with a 2pm start.

Everyone is encouraged to participate, regardless of your golf skill level. The format accommodates every skill level since it is a Scramble. Each golfer is required to contribute only 1 drive. 

Sign up as a 2-golfer team.  If you do not have a golfing partner, enter your name and we will try to pair you up with another single golfer.

Every 2-golfer team will be teamed up randomly with another 2-golfer team to make a mixed 4-some consisting of 2 men and 2 ladies.

At every Links N Drinks Event, the Clubhouse will be offering a dinner special. When you arrive you can sign up for the Links N Drinks dinner special (optional).

The Step-Aside Scramble format 

• 1 Mulligan per golfer

• Minimum of 1 Drive must be each golfer

• Men from White tees and Ladies from Red tees

Game Format

•  All 4 golfers play as a team. They will all Tee Off  and then select the drive they want to use.

• The golfer whose drive is chosen, does NOT hit the next shot … they will ‘Step Aside’

• This ‘Step Aside’ process is repeated for every shot until the ball lands COMPLETELY on the Green

• When not on the green, each player may place their ball within 1 club length of the selected shot, no closer to the hole.

• Everyone must play from the same condition as the selected shot: rough, bunker, fairway etc.

• Once the ball is COMPLETELY on the green, all 4 golfers will putt (from the chosen ball) until the ball is holed out

• When on the green, each player may place their ball within 1 putter-head length, no closer to the hole

• The 4-Golfer Team with the lowest score WINS!

• Prizes for the lowest team score and a "lucky" draw
