Mobile-based Tools
Clinician Study App (CSA):
The Clinician Study App (CSA) is a web-based 'study app' designed to simplify patient referrals for clinical staff and key study personnel. This app can be customized for any study, allowing users to easily refer patients to the local study contact for eligibility screening. It serves as an electronic replacement for the traditional Study Information Card and provides each site with a unique CSA link. This link can be saved on mobile devices, enabling quick access to study information and contact details for the study team. The app ensures that changes to study information are immediately available once updated on the CSA platform.
To view an example CSA, scan the QR code on the right or open the following link on your device: BLUE STAR STUDY
MyCap:
MyCap is a mobile app that participants or patients can download to complete research/clinical data collection from any mobile device. MyCap makes it simple and inexpensive (no cost) for researchers to use a mobile app to capture patients reported outcomes on both iOS and Android devices. MyCap is available as an external modules for REDCap, a secure web application for building and managing online surveys and databases.
See here for more MyCap information, or download the MyCap One pager and Overview.
