Welcome to Congregation Temple Emanu-El, northern Nevada's oldest Jewish congregation. We are a Conservative Jewish congregation affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism (USCJ). We offer a warm, friendly, spiritual environment to worship, to share and to learn.
Learn about our history.
Hebrew School: Temple Emanu-El religious school meets twice a week during the school year. Our school is available to children from Kindergarten through their Bar/Bat Mitzvah. We also offer Rosh Hodesh "It's A Girl Thing" for Junior High Girls and "Hebrew Chai" for grades 9 - 12.
Sisterhood: As an auxiliary organization, Sisterhood strives to enhance our congregation through a variety of events, contributions and projects.
Men's Club: Men's Club has been an integral part of our synagogue for over thirty years. Men's Club works to provide physical assistance and financial aid for the congregation, along with providing social, recreational and educational activities.
Youth Programs: The synagogue youth programs include Religious School, Kadima and a U.S.Y. chapter.
