He felt very accomplished when a carabinieri assured us we were on the right path. A late night gelato made all our anxiety disappear.
The Leonardo da Vinci Experience Museum
Exploring this very interactive museum with over 50 replica machine inventions and 22 reproductions of his most famous paintings was a hidden gem. Some of his inventions were the parachute, double hull for boats, catapult, anemometer, and the underwater diving suit.
Off the beaten path but not to be missed.
