Joseph Nephi Comish

Joseph Nephi Comish was born Jan 17, 1866 in Franklin, Idaho to Robert Nephi and Emma Jane Howland Comish. Joseph is a Pioneer of Cove.

History

In 1875, Joseph's father and uncle were asked by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to move to Cove to help settle the area. When Joseph was 17, he fathered died, making Joseph have to take on a lot of responsibilities. For work, Joseph would take wheat to the High Creek Mill and taking lumber to the Logan Temple.

Joseph married Matilda Ann Goaslind on March 21, 1893 in the Logan Temple. The following month, Joseph served a mission in the Southern States and was released two years later. Soon after his return home, he devores Matilda. Joseph remared to Bertha Orvilla Bowcut on Nov 13, 1901 in Logan, Utah, and made their home in Cove.
