John Bright III

John Bright III was born March 26, 1849 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to John Jr. and Susan Pugh Bright. John is a Pioneer of Richmond.

History

Soon after John's birth, the Bright family moved moved west to Utah in 1852. They lived in Alpine until 1860 when they moved to Richmond. When John grew up to an adult, he helped many immigrants move across the plains.

John married Phebe Jane Smith Dec 18, 1871 in Salt Lake City, Utah and had seven children. In 1874, the Bright family was sent by the Church to help settle Lewiston, Utah, where he lived for the rest of his life.
