Jane Theodora Wright was born Nov 28, 1852 in Busby, Scotland to George and Deborah Ann Hazley Wright.
The Wright family was converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in March 1846. When Jane was only two, her father died, leaving the weight of tending to her family all to her mother. From that moment, the Wright family began working to save enough funds to move to the United States and join the other Saints.
It took time, but the Wright family was finally able to move. They sailed from Liverpool on the Constitution on June 24, 1868, arriving in New York City, New York on Aug 6. They traveled on train to Omaha, Nebraska before joining the John Gellespie Company of 1868. They left on Aug 23 and arrived in the Salt Lake Valley on Sep 15.
The Wright family moved to Franklin, Idaho to meet with their son/brother William. In Franklin was John Biggs. They became acquainted and were married on June 21, 1869 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Biggs family lived in Franklin until 1877 when they moved to Mountain Home, Cove. After all there children were married, the Biggs family moved back to Franklin.
Jane Theodora Wright died on Jun 19, 1931 in Franklin, Idaho. She was buried in the Franklin, Idaho Cemetery.
