Mary Ann Angell Davis was born Jan 11, 1844 in Nauvoo, Illinois to George David Varner and Caroline Frances Angell Davis. Mary is a pioneer of Richmond.
At a very young age, Mary and her family were part of the Brigham Young Company of 1848, being the niece of Brigham Young. They arrived in Utah, and the family moved to Bountiful, Utah.
Mary married George Jorgen Andersen Aug 19, 1860 in Salt Lake City, Utah. After their marriage, they moved to Richmond where they began their family life, first living in the Old Fort, then moving into Fort Richmond. They had five children together.
After catching a savere cold, Mary Ann Angell Davies died May 21, 1872 in Richmond. She was buried in the Richmond Cemetery.
