Harold Vivian Hobson was born Jan 13, 1895 in Oxford, Idaho to Alma Utilus and Eliza Ann Arnetta Cluff Hobson. Harold was a veteran of World War I, dying in action.
Harold Vivian Hobson died Dec 12, 1918 in California. He was buried in the Richmond Cemetery.
"Vivian was 23 years old and at the time of death was a marine in the government service. The remains were shipped here from San Diego, California. He was on furlough and had undergone an operation for hernia before coming to Utah to visit friends and relatives. The operation was successful and the patient was removed from the surgery to the main hospital, Balboa Park, San Diego. Pneumonia was contracted and death followed."1
