1927 Edition
The 1927 Edition of the official hymns of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was Leroy's first addition to the participation of hymns for the Church. It has a total of four of Leroy's hymns. His hymn, Most Holy Spirit, We Ask Thee Ere We Part was the first hymn he wrote the music and lyrics for, and the only one in this edition. Hymns include:

The 1985 Edition, also known as the Hymns of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, has a total of eight hymns of Leroy. His hymn, On This Day of Joy and Gladness, is the only hymn he wrote the music and lyrics for.

Leroy Jasper Robertson died July 25, 1971 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was buried in the Larkin Sunset Lawn, Salt Lake City, Utah Cemetery.
