Cemetery Records of Richmond, Utah

About

Cemetery Records of Richmond, Utah is a two-volume book, both 90 pages long, both typed by a typewriter. The first volume was completed in August 1931. However, the second volume was completed in December 1959. Both volumes were donated to the Genealogical Library, aka the Family Search Library, and are still there today.

Volume One, Aug 1931

The first volume was made by a committee from the Richmond Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The first volume has all individuals listed in alphabetical order.

"The following copy of the Cemetery Records of Richmond, Cache Co., Utah has been complied by: Milo A. Harrison, Maggie T. Merrill, Lucy C. Merrill, Rhoda M. Hendricks, Priscilla C. Thompson. Completed - August, 1931.

"Note: The information has been gone over many times, with additions being added. It is impossible to fill in all the records as many have moved away from Richmond, who may have had the information desired. There are at least 200 graves in the Cemetery without a marker of any kind, to identify the person buried there. No records were kept the first ten or twelve years, and it is impossible to get a record of any of them. - Maggie T. Merrill, Ward Secretary, Genealogical Committee."
