Helen Gibson
About
Helen Adelia Gibson was born to Henry Elliot and Martha Eliza Gibbs Gibson on Sep 10, 1848, on the plains while her family was traveling to Utah.1 She was one of the first Settlers of Richmond in 1859.
History
After arriving in Utah, the small family moved to the Old Fort in Salt Lake City, then later moved to the Seventeenth Ward.1 Four years later, they moved to Mill Creek, then Ogden, then Willard. At age 11, the family moved to Richmond.1
At the age of 21, while visiting Salt Lake City, she met Brigham H. Ellsworth,1 grandson to Church President Brightman Young.2 One month after their visit, they were sealed in the Endowment House in Salt Lake City. After their marriage, they bought a home in Richmond.1
Helen and her family moved to Lewisville, Idaho in 1884.

Helen Adelia Gibson died on July 21, 1929, in Lewisville, Idaho. She was buried in the Lewisville, Idaho Cemetery.
