MUSIC/THEATRE/CINEMA

I play trumpet and flugelhorn and I studied at the Music Conservatory of St. Cecilia (Rome) from 1999 to 2004.

I have played the trumpet in several bands and have been involved in a variety of creative projects as a composer, writer, and actor. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to meet many interesting people, collaborate with different artists, and perform in a wide range of settings.

• Torpedo Band. I played trumpet with this band for many years, and together we recorded an album for Sony Music (V2). You can listen to some of our recordings here, watch one of our music videos here, and learn more about the band on its Wikipedia page.

• AUG – Alice Under Ground. Inspired by Lewis Carroll’s Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, this theatrical production brought together music, storytelling, and performance. I wrote the script, composed the music, and played the trumpet. The project received funding from IMAIE. You can watch the show's trailer here.

• Quattro Quarti. I composed the original soundtrack and appeared as an actor in this short film directed by Arianna Rossini and produced by Vivo Film.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Photography is another passion of mine. I have a small collection of vintage Minolta cameras and Rokkor lenses, including the SRT-303, SRT-303b, SRT-100x, and XD-7. These days, I mostly shoot with a Fujifilm X-T10.

All the photographs on this website are my own, with one exception: the picture of me on the homepage. Yes, I know… I really should replace it!

MARTIAL ARTS

For many years, I practiced Jujutsu, earning my 1st Dan black belt from the Italian Federation. During this time, I had the opportunity to train with Sensei Stelvio Sciutto of the Hontai Yoshin Ryu school, attending several of his workshops. I also explored other martial arts, taking part in Karate and Aikido seminars.
