Ricardo Gómez

I am a Professor at the University of Washington Information School, and faculty affiliate with the Latin American & Caribbean Studies Program, and the UW Center for Human Rights.

Research

My research interests focus on the uses of information and communication technologies in the context of migration, human rights and social justice.

Teaching

I teach Research Methods to future librarians in the Master of Library Information Science, and I teach Information Ethics to young information professionals. 

Writing

I bridge between scholarly work and writing for broader audiences through the use of creative nonfiction, historical fiction, and narrative storytelling.

Exhibitions

I create artistic projects that blend visual art and forms of storytelling.
