This year's GM week begins on March 18th, and elections are on Thursday, March 21st, 2024. They will be held in person with an online option for students on their Arch Away Semester.
Interested in running for office? You can view all necessary information at the elections website: https://elections.union.rpi.edu/. If you have any questions about the positions or the process, feel free to reach out to the Elections Commission (union-elections@rpi.edu).
The bulk of the progress in the Senate happens in committees, and many class-specific projects, actitivities, and events are planned in the Undergraduate Council and the Class Councils. Through committees, the Undergraduate Council, and the Class Councils, you can work on projects that you're passionate about, gain valuable communication experience, and help improve the RPI community.
To find meeting times, go to https://sites.google.com/view/rpistugov/. If you don't know which committee to join, that's okay! Feel free to reach out to me (massor2@rpi.edu) or any other Student Government representative and we'll point you in the right direction.
