一剪梅 is a Mandopop song by 費玉清 which has been widely regarded as the signature song of his music career. The piece was rearranged by our fellow EXCO member Chia Ren Cher, for a RICO's CNY performance in 2021.

CNY Medley

A medley of many iconic CNY songs heard by young and old! This piece was arranged by our fellow EXCO member Chia Ren Cher, for RICO's CNY performance in 2021.

童话 (Fairy Tale)

Fairy Tale is considered to be the strongest single of Michael Wong (王光良). The piece was rearranged by our alumni, Cheng Wentuo, as well as the EXCO, for a virtual ensemble recording, which was completed in December 2020 and showcased to our members in 2021.

丝绸之路 (The Silk Road)

The Silk Road was played for the Singapore Youth Festival 2019, where we achieved distinction.

《太陽頌》II. 挑山

This is the second movement of Ode to the Sun, and was played by RICO for the Nanyang International Music Competition, where we clinched first place.

北京一夜 (One Night in Beijing)

One night in Beijing is a Chinese popular song by Bobby Chen and was later arranged for the Chinese Orchestra which features Pipa, Dizi and Jinghu soloists.

RICO played this song in our concert: Voices of The Dragon XIII: Splendour.

展望 (Aspirations III)

Aspirations was composed by an alumnus of RICO,Wang Chenwei. Written specially for this joint RICO-RISE concert, this piece pays homage to 新摇 (Xinyao), Singapore's own local brand of Chinese popular music, with its distinctive melody and style.
